Tean, see ei kõla just paljutõotavalt. Sinna kohale jõudes lubati meil aga telkida autoparkla vastas asuvas pargis ehk Paradiisiaias nagu seda seal kutsuti. Continue reading

Imeilus Esfahan

Meil on vedanud, et juba selle lühikese aja jooksul mil Iraanis oleme olnud oleme me kohtunud paljude toredate inimestega, kes on meid kas teed jooma kutsunud, erinevatesse kohtadesse juhatanud olgugi, et me ainult õiget suunda nende käest küsinud või meid enda kodudesse sööma kutsunud või öömaja pakkunud. Ka Esfahanis veedetud aeg ei erinenud teistest. Continue reading

Christmas In The Desert

Arches Over The Old City Roads Of YazdAfter a lengthy ride from Kashan we arrived in Yazd are were immediately reintroduced to our old friend, being lost in a city, but this time it was a little worse than usual as we weren’t just lost in Yazd we were lost in the old town of Yazd along with it’s tiny wee alleyways and complete lack of road signs!!

Kashan

Bazaar DomeOnce out of Tehran we rode straight on to Kashan for a brief stop before riding onto Yazd for Christmas. We arrived in the evening and after checking in to our hotel left for a brief tour round the bazaar, neither of us were really that impressed with the main section of the bazaar but we did stumble upon a very pretty little room which didn’t seem to have any purpose, larger than any of the other rooms with an opening right at the very top. Teheran – Pakistani viisa saaga

iran-tehran-motorbikes-motorbikes-motorbikes-small1
Teherani ei olnud meil tegelikult üldse plaan tullagi kuid kuna meil oli vaja Pakistani viisat ning olgugi, et Istanbulis Pakistani konsulaati külastades ning seal viisat soovides taotelda, öeldi meile, et Iraanis Zahedanis (Iraani piirilinn Pakistaniga) saaksime me Pakistani transiit viisat (10-15 päeva pikkune) taotelda ilma igasugu probleemideta ning saada viisa 2 kuni 3 päeva jooksul. Arvestades meie reisi eripära, soovitati meile tungivalt just Zahedanis viisa taotelda. Continue reading

Tehran

Man Made Lake in the Mountains Between Masouleh and TehranOur fifth day in Iran was another hard day supposedly riding from Masouleh to Karaj just outside Tehran, from Masouleh we returned back towards the coast riding into Rasht and from there back towards Tehran. For the majority of the journey we were riding along valley floors with great views up into the snow capped mountains. This continued, even after the road went from a brilliant new toll road (with nowhere to pay your toll) to a single track wacky races affair where every speed bump was seen as a starting line for the next drag race. Slowly but surely we began our climb back up into the mountains, Continue reading
